I am looking for some assistance with imports into Inventory. Export is no problem, but there are obviously requirements for the import. Is there somewhere to look to find out what the requirements are. We have a manual, but that is not very explicit. The error message that I keep receiving is: The file layout is incorrect. This is refering to the file I wish to import, which is an excel file. It has numerous columns, all of which are needed on my import, but there is obviously something which does not agree with Adagio. Thank you for any suggestions.

The import setup includes a file type and a list of default import fields.

Make sure you change the default file type to from CSV to Excel.

On the next tab is the default field list. This must be changed changed to match the fields (including the order) in your spreadsheet.
