In any text field in Adagio (including Descriptions for Batch entry), you can use the Windows standard Control-X to 'cut' text to the clipboard, Control-C to 'copy' text, or Control-V to 'paste' text. You can also use your mouse to highlight text and then right-click to choose any of cut/copy/paste from the pop-up menu.

There is no built-in functionality to automatically go through each entry of a batch, search for particular text, and replace/append it with new text.
