Hello IIS,

Are you simply trying to extract information from the accouting system to feed the shopping cart? You should know that there are already two "off-the-shelf" solutions that already do this for Adagio. Check out Bravo and Virtual Vendor. If you are trying to integrate to your own shopping cart solution, then you can read the Adagio tables using OLEDB to load your customer and inventory item tables. We'd strongly recommend that you import the resulting orders into Adagio OrderEntry using File | Import | Orders which supports 6 different import formats, and you can define your own (carefully).

Hello IIS:

How detailed can the definitions be in the Order Entry module? We are planning to separate the name fields into First and Last for example.

I do not understand this question. In order to import orders into Order Entry, you must create a file with the fields in the order and format as specified in the import template. Download the OrderEntry demo and take a look.

Adagio OLEDB is capable of reading from your client's ACCPAC Plus data. If you install OLEDB and link it to MS SQLServer, you can just communicate with it through MS SQL. OLEDB is READ ONLY though.
