I have been using Adagio Payables for 10 years, however I have only been using it to post my invoices. Just recently I purchased computer generated cheques and would like to transition over to posting my invoices as well as printing the cheques from Payables. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to get started?

If you are on a current Adagio upgrade plan you can access the self help videos on www.softrak.com

These will not help you clean up your database (sounds like you have 10 years of invoices that are still outstanding). My recommendation is that you start over with a new Payables database.

Is there not a way to "post" all my entries to date to clear all the invoices from the cheque run? To create a new database would be very time consuming. Any advise or help would be appreciated.

That's what I would do, in your case. However, there are quite a few steps involved and the sequence depends on the state of your data, versions and whether Payables is integrated with other modules. It's beyond the scope of this forum.

You really should work through your Adagio consultant on this. I wouldn't mind working with your consultant (I don't know who it is but I'm friends with most of them) if they have questions.
