I was able to import but while trying to edit the imported batch, I get error message "You can not edit imported batch." I wonder if there is a solution to this.

What Adagio program and version are you using?
Typically, a message such as this indicates that a setting in the Company Profile isn't allowing the process. Edit your company profile and see if such a setting exists.

That's correct! Changed the setting and it's good now, will be doing some testing later - should be ok.
