I just want to know on how to create a consolidated report by picking up specific periods. For example, I want a consolidated report for January to June only. I know how to do Departmental report, but I couldn't find how to pick specific periods.

Hi Harpo

Assuming your fiscal year has a calendar year end, then in order to print Jan thru Jun, you will need to enter [1]S in the .CS row in the appropriate column ([1]S translates as the first half of the year).

You should watch the webinar on financial statement design in order to understand the difference between selecting a different period/year, and changing the contents of a column.

I'm having hard time figuring out how to get a report using Calendar year (Jan-Dec)when our Financial Reporter is set to Fiscal Year, Oct-Sep. Any help? Thanks.

The "GL!12MonthRollingNet.sam" statement in the sample data might be useful in getting you where you are trying to go.

Use File | Import spec and retrieve the statement from the \Softrak\Ledger\Samdata Folder. You'll need to make adjustments to the account ranges of course.

Our Financial Reporter has been setup to print only the reports per Department including Consolidated per single period (for instance January Income Statement). I don't know how to make a report from scratch. I also know how to create department ranges where it consolidate departments I selected. I hope there is a period ranges because that is the one I am thinking on how to do this. I will study the
GL!12MonthRollingNet.Sam. Thank you!

Woohooo.... I was able to figure this out. I just used the formula from GL!12MonthRollingNet.Sam and copied all the accounts from our financial statement. Thanks for the tip! smile
