I have a customer with a receivable history that I would like to change their call letters in receivables. How can I do this & retain the current & history for them. At the moment the call letters are grey in the edit customer screen.

If you mean editing the customer code (up to 6 characters), then the only way this can be changed without losing information is to use the 3rd party program Toolkit for Adagio, and specifically the Customer Number Change function.

If you were wanting to edit different information from the Customer number, please indicate specifically what you wanted to change, as 'call letters' isn't standard terminology in Adagio Receivables.

To elaborate on Support's answer, Toolkit for Adagio is like a Swiss Army knife; it has a variety of components that add features to Adagio. You can buy all components or only the ones that you need. In your case you would need the Customer Number Change component.

The Customer Number Change capability allows you to change customer "ABC" to "XYZ" (you can also combine 2 customers together). The software searches throughout your database and finds every occurrence of "ABC" and changes it. This applies across AR, OE, Sales Analysis etc.

The software looks exactly like Adagio so it is easy to learn. It is extremely reliable, fast and well-supported. The pricing is reasonable, especially if you are purchasing more than one component.
