The fastest way to change the name of a Balance Sheet line item (or line items) is to open the specification and type a new name on the row. If the row contains ".Range" in column A, then press F2 to edit the formula in the description cell use the GLDESC() formula mentioned earlier.

To change the description of an element in Group tree View, click on the element and press F2 to edit its description.
