I would like to assign alphanumeric cheque numbers in AP however the cheque series field in the 'edit bank' window accepts numerical values only. Is it possible to use alphanumberic cheques in Adagio?

What version of Adagio Payables are you using? In the current version 8.1B, there is a company profile option to allow alpha numeric check numbers, and a second option to force the alpha portion to be all-capitalized.

This option is not available in earlier versions of Payables.
