I attended the financial reporter online seminar this past wednesday, and was impressed.

We currently use F9 to produce a lot of statements. During the seminar you demonstrated pulling an existing excel worksheet into the financial reporter.

The layout and formulas seem pretty similar between F9 (which of course is just an excel add on) and financial reporter.

Does anyone have any experience migrating from F9 to Financial Reporter? Does Financial reporter have all the same features / flexibiliy (it looks like it does!)? Any words of wisdom?

The financial reporter can do everything F9 can do and more besides. Unfortunately, you'll have to re-do the F9 formulas. Translate them into text strings be replacing all occurrances of "=" (equals) with "'=" (single quote equals) before you more the sheet into the financial reporter. After you've made all the changes you need to the formulas, redo the gloabl replace of "'=" with "=".

If this isn't clear, then you can always just type in the necessary formulas.

I guess you're not using Ledger V9.0A - it's multi-year capability alone is worth the effort.
