HI Everyone,

We are doing some preliminary testing on AR 9.0 and have noticed that my statement of account is not displaying all the addess fields the way I expect it to.

Does the formatted or unformatted addresses in AR make any difference with the way the report is going to print or is AR pulling the address information based on how the customer is setup in AR?

I looked at making changes to the Statement of account using the build in tool but I though I'd make this post first.

Another thing I noticed, is the cast that Adagio did not use to have 2 lines for the customer name, now that it does, this line will need to be added to the statement of account.

Hi Yann,

There are now new specification codes for dealing with formatted addresses. If you have elected to have your addresses conform to North American addressing standards, you will probably want to change the statement specification to make use of the new fields (it's referred to as a "formatted address" as opposed to a "compressed address" which just removes the blank lines). You will only need to add the second customer name line if you make use of that in your database.

If I am using the formatted addresses and I still have some addresses that are not formatted (international customers) will my statement of account work with all these customers?

Yes, if you have been consistent in how their addresses are entered in Receivables. You should check them out and make any adjustments to their address information required when you select the new speciication.
