We get many orders sent to us from particular customers. Each has a distinct purchase order number. Often times we get 2 copies of the same purchase order sent to us by our customers a few days apart. Is there a way that adadio order entry will alert us to the fact that we are entering the same purchase order number twice when we go to enter it for the second time?????? This will stop us from double shipping the same order.

What version of Adagio OrderEntry do you have? In the recent 81B release, an option to 'Check for duplicate reference' is available within the Company Profile on the System Options tab. Enabling this option will pop a warning that the reference has already been used (case sensitive) and prevent saving the order with the duplicate reference. Both current and historical orders are checked.
