I have searched all over the Composite Tables as well as the main units and have been unable to find a table where I can great a gridview of my Item numbers, Base Price and Alternate Price from the alternate price list. We use two price lists and would like to create a Gridview that would show both the base price and the alternate price.
Any suggestions???

You are correct.

You have two option. One is to ask Softrak to create a composite table that will include those fields. The second is to create two views, one with the base price and one with the alternative prices for an item, link the two views and save the whole thing as a workspace.

Option 2 is marginally more work to set up and can't be easily printed, but it will actually process faster than the first option.

Hi Liz,

If we create a composite table that combines the item master and the alternate price list, you would only see items in the list for which alternate price lists exist (since the link would have to be from the alternate price list -> item master). Would that be OK (it would if you knew for sure that there would be at least one alternate price per item).

Otherwise, Steve's suggestion would be better.

I did what you suggested and voila, it works!!! Thanks for the suggestion.
