Hi bdgillis,

When the Adagio GridView ReadWrite add-on is installed, the standard registration should appear when you first start the application from the shortcut. It is from here that the Read/Write add-on licencing information is entered.

If your shortcut used for starting GridView does not have /rw as a parameter in the Target, then GridView will be started without the Read/Write add-on being looked for, and thus the registration/licensing process for Read/Write will be bypassed. I suspect that all you need to do is edit your shortcut for using GridView and include /rw in the Target.

Also, you should have two shortcuts for starting GridView, one with the /rw switch in the Target and one without. You should only ever use Read/Write with GridView when you want to make database changes, not just in general usage of GridView, since loading RW affects speed and performance of loading records.
