Hi Mike:
By "blank value" do you mean that the import file has (1) a row for that item but a blank cell instead of a zero or (2) no row at all for that item. I suspect you mean the latter. In that case it's almost certain that the item will not get updated and will retain its' current value. Therefore you should import that item with a 0 quantity. Which import process are you using?
