Hi! I'm trying to put together a simple report using the Financial Reporter and I'm having 2 problems which I'm assuming are really basic, but for which I have had no luck sorting out....
1.
Is there a formula that can be put in a cell such that it would report the data for a department based on another cell?
So I'm trying to display departmental revenue in a row. What I'm looking at now is hard coding the department codes into each cell, eg. =ADGET("GLDATA.M","112102-21")followed in the next cell by =ADGET("GLDATA.M","112102-22").

When I'm creating the cells above, when I reference the record range (in the example above my GL code 1121102) by clicking on the left hand column that has that information, instead of retaining the reference (A32 or what have you) it just converts what's in the formulat to the literal value in that cell exactly as it appears in the above example. The 2 left hand columns aren't blue as they are in all my sample sheets... does that matter?
