Since the actual question has not been clarified, I'll answer two of the ways it has been interpreted here.

Adagio will run fine on one server, if another server is acting as the domain server for the Windows network.

Adagio will run fine on a server that is acting as a domain controller.

Actually, Adagio will run fine with any properly configured Windows server. The server is simply a repository of the data. All application processing is done on the workstation, and data is accessed through the network. There are no Adagio processes running on the server.

Microsoft tends to suggest a separate machine for each of their server products. We have not found this to be necessary (although we generally do not recommend trying to run multiple virtual servers on a single machine unless it is a rocket ship built for the purpose).

Edit Reason: Clarify architecture.
