If you want the entire previous year as a column on a financial statement, you can use the LY code to see this. LYY is the 'last year, year to date' code that you may currently have.

The formula =GLFPE(code) will output the end of the period, based on the code above. So =GLFPE("LY") will output Dec 31, 2007 (in whatever date format you have defined in the View / Customize / Settings screen and the 'ColSpec date format'). There are other was to format dates, using the DateString formula.

If you want to see what each of the spec codes represent, including the respective start and end dates, you can use the same specification 'GL!SuperSpec90' to see every available spec code, the date range based on the selected fiscal period and year, and the amounts based on your live data and whichever account you choose.

For Adagio FX users, a similar sample spec 'AF!SuperSpec' is available to see the same field layout and results.
