You can only have a single instance of Adagio ODBC running at once. Certainly, if you were using it to connect to Crystal, you would not be able to open it again in VB. It's also possible that VB might open more than one instance.

I have an app created by just dropping a data grid control on a form in VB that works fine (at least for us).
