There are two separate questions:

1) Automating the downloading of Adagio reports:

I have had success using Automation Anywhere (www.automationanywhere.com). The version you would want to look is called Premier and costs about $700 but you can download a copy for free for 30 days and by then you will know if it will work for you.

2) Quickbooks to Adagio GL conversion:

There are two possibilities. If you want to continue using Quickbooks and just use Adagio to print financials and view details, then you want Adagio FX. If you want to transfer the Quickbooks data to Adagio GL and stop using Quickbooks, then you want to look at Dakota Software to do the conversion.
