Hi,

I install the new update of inventory yesterday, but when i whould print my inventory reconciliation, this message apear to me : Print Aborted. Report file,

F:\Softrak \IcWin\StandardRP\icRecon.rpt is Missing.

I dont have problem to print my physical inventory or Enter/Edit physical inventory. It's just with my reconcilation report.

When i go to my F:\Softrak \IcWin\StandardRP\icRecon.rpt, i see the file Icrecon.rpt and

I Dont understand why i can print this report.

Hi Kenny,

What version of IC do you have? You mentioned just installing the new update, which I presume is the Aug 29, 2008 service pack for IC81A.

I can't duplicate this behaviour, either before or after installation of this service pack, and there have not been any previous reports of this occurence in any version.

When you installed the service pack, did you do this directly at the server or from a workstation? If you installed directly at the server, then this is a mistake and could have caused the problem.

The ICRECON.rpt file should have a date of Mar 1, 2006 and it was not updated with the service pack.

Could workstation or network rights be an issue? It may be necessary to reboot and try again.

Hello,

I check in my file, and my ICRECON.rpt is at Mar 1, 2006.

When i install the service pack, i do this directly at the server.

Hi Kenny,

Please try re-installing the Aug 29, 2008 Inventory service pack from a workstation, to your F:\softrak location. It is entirely possible that installing the service pack directly at the server has broken this.

I try to install the service pack in my workstation, but i didn't work too. the file stay in March 1 2006.

Hi Kenny,

March 1, 2006 is the correct date. Unless the file is corrupted, this portion of the install is OK. The purpose of doing the re-installation was to determine if any paths were broken, but if that didn't work then nothing changed.

Are there any other reports that you notice do not work? You indicated that the Physical Inventory worksheet report is OK, but are there any others?

Are there any other workstations that have access to Adagio Inventory and if so, does the same problem occur?

Are you able to rename the ICRECON.RPT file? If you get an error, there may be network security issues in 'seeing' this file.

Should the 'simpler' tests not reveal the basis of the problem and find a solution, you may need to get your Adagio consultant to help with the investigation.

We have the same problem for all workstation, and we didn't have trouble to print other repport in the inventory.

i will talk with my consultant for my problem.
