I just did the latest ledger update to 9.3B. Everything seems to be working and the version shows as 9.3B however.....

I get an error message that the file "...\x64\LedgerFinRep64.exe is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded"

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

We didn't install an new LedgerFinRep.exe (32-bit) not LedgerFinRep64.exe with this service pack.

Try drilling down to the folder in your post and (a) confirm that the folder is of exactly the same name as in your post, (b) confirm that there is a LedgerFiRep64.exe in that folder and (c) if it exists, confirm that its Properties, Details show the program version as being 2.1.8.2761.

OK, found it! I may have typo'd the path name but I had a screen shot of the actual error so I got there anyway.

BUT my version is 2.1.8.2751

Regarding this update, my IT manager is recalling that this problem existed on the previous ledger update so I guess this problem may have been around for a while...

Support: I had a client with the same error message last week. I didn't have time to really delve into the issue.

LedgerFinRep64.exe #2751 should have been installed by the original by the original upgrade to GL9.3B. The 2 prior SPs each installed new FRs but this one did not.

Let me take a closer look and get back to you.

So we have duplicated that the GL9.3B(210527) SP does not recognize the original upgrade's FR (i.e. #2751) as being valid. When it tries to install the x64 version is stops.
