I am trying to change tAX RATE IN ORDER ENTRY.
I RAN THEE DAY END. PRINT AND POST TAX SUMMARY AND TAX TRACKING REPORT. EDIT TAX GROUPS AND CHANGE THE PERCENTAGE FOR ITEMS AND CUSTOMERS RATES. BUT THE OK OPTION IS GRADED OUT.
HOW DO I APPLY THE CHANGE...

You have to print and PURGE the tax reports, not print and POST.
When all else fails, I copy the tax table files to a new dataset, make the changes there, and copy them back. But this is for someone who knows how the file structure works, not for the average user. Your Adagio consultant could help you with this.

I'm sorry, but this is not the correct forum if you need an urgent answer (although I see Steve Schwartz has replied quite quickly). There is no guaranteed response time for questions posted on this forum (that's why you may post questions for free).
Also, Softrak will not answer questions about changing tax rates, because important considerations are determined by how your customers and items are set up, and the tax rules in your particular jurisdiction.
