Hello np,

In order to be able to customize any of the Adagio management reports, you must have installed Crystal Reports for Adagio. This module is available from your Adagio reseller. The "off the shelf" version of Crystal is not capable of modifying these reports.

Hello np:

What are the differences between Crystal Reports for Adagio and Crystal Reports (shelf version)?

Crystal Reports for Adagio is Crystal Reports Standard Edition V8.5 combined with DLL's necessary to modify the management reports (and design new reports for) Adagio and ACCPAC Plus. If you install your Developer Edition "on top" it will be quite happy.

I am moving this post to the General Inquiries forum as this is really a pre-sales type of question rather than a Technical Support issue.

Hello np,

They are only available with Crystal Reports for Adagio. We do not sell them separately.

Sorry

Re: Crystal Reports Configuration - 09/30/03 12:08 PM

Hello np:

Why not? Because the majority of our clients do not own a copy of Crystal Reports, and we want to be able to make sure they are running a version we support.

Are the ODBC database drivers for Adagio obtainable anywhere else? Crystal Reports for Adagio does not use ODBC to connect to the database. We have a native connection layer. It's WAY faster.

Are there any generic ODBC drivers that would work? Sorry, I don't know - and none that we could support.

Hello np,

Please make sure your customer is aware that if you have elected to use the ODBC drivers fom ACCPAC International, that these will only work with ACCPAC Plus, and are not guaranteed to work with future versions of Adagio.

They would have to have the reports re-created.
