Hardware/OS Setup - 03/18/19 03:25 PM

Hi,

I would like to know what would be the best low cost solution (hardware/OS setup/Maintenance) for a 2 user Lanpak Adagio system with the ability to possibly grow to a 5 user in the future. Thanks.

Hi Brett,

Are you talking about just the server requirements? What modules are you using?

Regards,
Dan.

Hi Dan,

Yes I'm referring to both server and workstations. Modules are Accounts Payable, Receivables, General Ledger and Lanpak/o2 users. But I would like room to grow if needed. Thanks.

Hi Brett,

You may want to consider moving to Adagio Cloud. That would eliminate the costs of purchasing and maintaining a server and give you remote access from any PC with reliable internet. The workstations would then only need the minimum requirements as per the link below. You could add Cloud users as you go.

If you don't want Cloud, the system requirements for Adagio can be found here: https://portal.softrak.com/products/requirements.php

Your dealer/consultant should be able to help you make this decision or answer your questions about OS and hardware best practices. If you don't have one, feel free to send me a PM and we can talk offline.

Regards,
Dan.
