Order Entry Picking Ticket Spec's - two columns?? - 03/11/08 08:37 PM
Hi. I appreciate the help that I have received on this forum. My question this time: Is it possible to have two columns when designing a specification? On my picking ticket, the only detail I want is picking sequence, item number, and quantity. These three items only take up a small amount of the width of the paper, so is it possible to duplicate them on the remaining width of the paper? The page would look like this:
Picking Item Qty Picking Item Qty

Hi Taylor,
Well, it's possible to have two columns, but the same item number would be in each column, and that's probably not what you'd like.
Each item generates a new row on the form.
It's not a bad suggestion, but would actually be quite complex to implement.
Thanks for using Adagio!

Hi Taylor
You might want to ask this question to the folks at Wellspring Software, who have an add-on product called PrintBoss that can manipulate Adagio forms using what I consider to be a form of magic. Their website is
http://www.wellspringsoftware.com , and their phone is 636-527-6100 (somewhere in Missouri).
Good luck

Steve:
About the only part of a form that PrintBoss cannot manipulate is the detail section.
I wonder if this could be done in Crystal Reports.
