Printing Invoices to Screen

Is there any way to force invoices to be printed to a printer? As it is now an invoice can be inadvertantly printed to screen and then posted.

In the Company Profile, turn off the option to "Post without printing".

With this option off, the invoice must have a "Printed" status before it can be posted. An invoice will only get a "Printed" status when it is printed to printer or to file.

I think you are incorrect. I just printed an invoice to screen only and the status changed to "Printed"

QIP (Windows) will not change the status of an invoice to "Printed" unless the invoice is printed to printer.

QIP (DOS) will change the status if the invoice is printed to screen.

There is nothing in QIP (DOS) that you can set to force a print of a hardcopy of the invoice.

However, if you are keeping History in QIP (DOS), you can always reprint an invoice from history.
