Close Income/Expense Acct

I seem to remember having this same issue at last year end. The income/expense acct won't clear even though it's been done so I can't close the current year. It even tells me when I do the close income/expense that it's been done but when I try to close the year it says I still have to close the income/expense acct.

And why didn't I have to clear the batch status report? In fact it doesn't look like if have a batch status option under reports. ??

Assuming you are running Adagio Ledger 9.2A, the Batch Status and Posting Journals are now cleared when the year is closed. You no longer have to do this manually.

I would run year-end close again, making sure that the account and department ranges are blank to "zzzzzz" in case one of your accounts s not being picked up.There is no harm in running the year-end close multiple times (and in fact this might be necessary if you were closing your year department by department).

If you are certain that the year-end close has been performed for all your accounts, and confirmed this with your Adagio Consultant, and Ledger still will not close the year, then please upload your data to http://www.softrak.com/dbr to my attention.

Yes, I see that we don't do a batch status anymore after looking at the year end procedures on the help menu. And this did indeed work! Thank you smile
