I've encountered a client who has old Receipt transactions from their Plus days that are causing DIC errors due to the fact that they reference long deleted items.

The problem is that we can't delete the Receipts as they were linked to POs in the Plus IC era and they did not deal with them before the migration. Adagio shows both the PO and where applicable, the receipt(s) linked to the PO, in the Edit Receipts grid. None of them can be deleted, in fact the [Delete] button is deactivated for all of these transactions.

How do we get rid of them ?

BTW - If it's going to cause DIC Errors, why not prevent the ability to delete an Item if it's used in any transactions ?

The only way to get rid of the old PO/Receipts from Plus is to use Plus Inventory to delete them.

I have added a suggestion for preventing the deletion of items if there are transactions to the wishlist for a future release of Inventory.

I would use Plus to delete them if I could but remember that Adagio "breaks" the Plus compatibility to the IC database in some cases and this is one of those.

Assuming it would be safe for the continued use of Adagio, can you tell me how to re-enable Plus on the database ? It would just be to delete the old PO/Receipts and then we could "re-break" it again.

If you have Plus Inventory 65A, you will still be able to Edit the Purchase orders and Purchase order related receipts to complete/delete them.

If the original data was Plus Inventory 61B style, the Adagio Inventory conversion of data does change the Purchase orders to the 65A format.
