I'm trying to run a Customer Transactions report in AR but when I click on the report name in the dropdown the following error message pops up:

Unable to open data file GL fiscal years @L90AFYE, (1213)

When I click on the OK button I get this error:

Attempting to perform operation on unopened GL fiscal years file

At this point the program freezes and I have to force close it.

It's only happening with one of our subledger datasets, the other one seems to run fine. What's causing it and how do I fix it? It's never happened before...

Hello Jean,

You haven't given any version information. Receivables should be 9.3B (250324) Service Pack and Ledger should be 9.3B (231109) Service Pack.

Can you access Ledger data using the current version of Ledger for this dataset?

We're using A/R 9.3B(230215) and GL 9.3B(230518).
We use the same versions for both databases and one data set works fine but the other gives the error.

The error only pops up when trying to run the Customer Transactions report.

Hello Jean,

You should contact your Adagio Consultant.

You do not have the latest Service Packs and you have not answered my question: Can you access Ledger data using the current version of Ledger for this dataset?

I can access everything (GL, AP, AR) and run every report using this dataset... except for the Customer Transactions report.

Hello Jean,

That is good information. You still need to install the current Service Packs.

You should also check for a ModifiedReports folder in the Receivables program folder and remove it.

Thanks. I'll have our tech person do the installs next week and see if that fixes the issue.
There was no Modified Reports folder so that's not causing the problem.
