My client has the options in OrderEntry "Default shipped as ordered" and "Quantity shipped on orders" ticked, so that when they enter orders everything is entered as shipped, not backordered.

But when they transfer a quote from SalesCQ to OrderEntry as a sales order, it doesn't respect the settings in OE, and all of the items are backordered. They then have to edit the order and mark the items as shipped.

Can SalesCQ be modified to respect the OE setting, or at least present a prompt.

We've registered your feature request.

It might possibly mean having to replicate all the qty on hand at location checking to ensure that no negative qty scenario is created during the creation of the order from the quote. So it might not be as simple a change to just write to the qty shipped field instead of the qty backordered field based on OE options.

I don't think Softrak will have to replicate the QOH checking. The same logic that is used when entering an order with those options set should be fine (it doesn't check and the order can be saved).

The SalesCQ 93A (2022.04.06) Upgrade just released does check the OrderEntry Company Profile options for 'Default shipped as ordered' and 'Quantity shipped on orders' when Quotes are transferred to OrderEntry.

I believe this is related.

We updated to SalesCQ 93A (2022.04.06) last week. Now when we transfer a quote to an order (OrderEntry 9.3A (210927)), the extended price is not carried over into the order. The "unit price" and "shipped as ordered" are correct, but the extension is 0. If the "ship all" button in the order is pressed then the extension is calculated". Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?
