I am looking for info on Adagio's ability to scan a barcode and automatically enter that info in Adagio.
For example, on an inventory account, the counter scans the code, enters the quantity and that count automatically updates on the "Enter Physical Inventory" function.
Another example is when the shipping department receives an inventory, they are able to put it on the shelf, scan the barcode, and are able to receive a PO that way.
I haven't found any info on this (that isn't 15 years old) and our company desperatley needs this.
So does Adagio have this ability?

Adagio does have an add-on POS system that does scanning, however, are you looking for other features as well related to manufacturing? If so, what are they?

I would need the scanned barcode to be compatible mostly in all functions of the IC modules....ie. Adjustments, Physical Inventory Count, Assembly, etc.
The PO module for receiving, returns etc. and probably OE

It sounds like you are looking for Warehouse Management Software (commonly called WMS). There is an add-on product that integrates fully with Adagio Inventory Control, Order Entry and PO. See: Lenmax WMS Three of my clients are using the product successfully.
