The answer might be in the error message "non-commercial edition"

What edition of Excel are you using?

The 'non-commercial edition' is related to the error tracking software we license for Adagio that triggers when access violation or similar errors occur.

Did this Excel error start happening all of a sudden and it previously worked? If so, can you think what changed recently? Windows or Microsoft updates?

It appears to have stopped working after we did the AP9.3B upgrade.

This is still being investigated. We believe the problem is happening with the newest version of the Excel integration system file SSI2XL.DLL that was installed by this Payables upgrade, but we don't know whether it is not interacting properly in your workstation environment, or if something failed to install for you correctly as part of the Payables upgrade, or if there is a more general problem.

I have only heard of this error at one other site, and in their case their workstation on their terminal server was very low on available free memory.

You probably will want to get your Adagio consultant involved. Checking the error logs in the \Softrak\Ledger folder (or whichever applications you saw errors in) will be something you can do with them.

Hello,

Did some further testing on additional systems in the network. Tried another server, that was not part of the normal Terminal Server deployment, and the issue was present on it as well. Also tried an older version of Office (2010) just to see if it was a 2013/newer issue, but the same error was generated.

Any update or workaround available for this issue yet? Thanks.
