Has anyone else had this trouble? and is it a bug, or do you have a workaround?

We've setup optional fields in the company profile of Purchase orders (20181119).

According to the help file, we should be to send these optional fields to the Ledger, but when we use %hs1 or %hs2, we get an error message, "Invalid GL description code HS1"

The Help text looks wrong. Try the codes %os1, %os2 etc.

Thank you Bruce. They are wrong names but also their saved wrong. User define fields are usually sent trimming the blank spaces but these ones are sent including blanks. Therefore a %os1 %os2 will not save the second field.

Will this be fixed in the next release? I see it didn't make it to the recent HF.

In the PurchaseOrders 93A (19.08.01) Hot fix, the Help text has been updated with the correct codes for Optional field.

However, User defined fields only appeared to be trimmed in some views. They are not trimmed.
