I've seen the issue on my laptop (Windows 10), LAN and Remote (2012). I use a Logitech wireless mouse. I just tried OE on my laptop and Remote 2012 environment using my laptop mouse pad and I can't replicate the issue.

I've reported this issue to tech support months ago. As far as I'm concerned, it's still an open issue.

We think it might be related to the speed of the machine running OE. My laptop and desktop have SSD drives.

Is DocStore enable in the database that this happening in?

Steve, Are you saying this happened in the version prior to the 180410 SP?

Chris, I have definitely seen it in at least 2 datasets where docstore was enabled. I have confirmed with one of our recent OE upgrade sites where they do not have docstore and they do not experience the issue.

Hi, Steve,

I've searched through my email and don't find a similar report of this problem from you. There certainly are lots of other things though. Perhaps you're accidentally mixing this with of one of them.

We have been using OE 9.3A since January and have version 180410 now. On a small peer-to-peer Windows 10 network, this is not happening on any of our computers and we can multi-select rows on the grid. We have a variety of wired USB mice and no unusual settings in Windows Mouse settings except our double-click speed is set at the slowest setting.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the detailed information.

We think that this is related to having DocStore installed and enabled, and the additional processing that needs to be done in that case.

A Hot Fix is being prepared to try and address this issue (and a couple of others).

Regarding my post above, I had reported the problem in an email to a fellow dealer (Dan), not to Softrak. It was on April 17, 2018, immediately after installing the latest OE service pack. Dan was in the process of setting up the client's DocStore.
