Where does the selling price come from in Purchase Orders?

Purchase Order is created with current sell price. Before receiving the merchandise the sell price is changed in the item. When receiving merchandise unless I see that the sell price has been changed and change it myself the dollar amount will revert back to the old price.

Is there box I need to check somewhere to make sure that when receiving the merchandise Adagio grabs the current sell price on the specific item and not the one showing in PO?

The selling price doesn't feed PurchaseOrders at all.

Do you mean the cost? If so, the answer is depends on a setting in Company Profile.

When receiving an order in Purchase Orders here is the list that comes up

Item Number
Ordered
Unit Cost
Received
Backordered
IC Base Price ____________ current ____________ markup of _______

IC Base Price number is different than current number, this is where our selling price is pulling from when receipting the merchandise. How do I get then current to match the base price once a sell price is changed after the PO is created?

The more I use Adagio the more I think that this program is more designed for a manufacturer than for a retail store point of sale software (we are a retail store)

If you don't want Receipt or Invoice/Adjustment Posting to change the Item's Base Price, change the Company Profile, Integration tab, Inventory option for 'Updated base price on entry' to No.
