Hi all,
I am trying to import a GL batch generated using a crystal report and exporting as an Excel 5.0 extended format.

The report exports fine, open in excel it looks fine - all fields look good but when I import the file the entire batch defaults to the current fiscal period instead of reading the fiscal period from the batch file.

My template for importing contains: Fiscal date, Fiscal period, Account code, Department code, Source code, Reference, Transaction date, Description, Amount all as selected fields with Record type and entry number as defaulted fields, transaction and auto generated respectively.

Any ideas on getting the fiscal period to respond? This particular import will always have data from multiple fiscal periods.

Hmmmm, I guess I wasn't paying attention - switched to header/detail and all is fine, problem solved.
