Is it possible to copy an import template (for AR invoices) from one company to another? If so, how?

Yes, you can replace all the import templates of one company with another company?s templates, but you cannot copy just one import template from one company to another. All import templates for a company are stored in the ARIO*.xxx files (where xxx is the company extension). Note that there is not one specific file for a specific import template.

If you want to replace all the import templates of one company with another company?s templates, then first make a backup of both the old and the new company's data. Then rename all the ARIO*.xxx files in the new company. Then copy and paste all the ARIO*.xxx files from the old company to the new company's data directory. In the new company's data, rename the extension of the ARIO*.xxx files from the old company's extension to the new company's extension. For example, rename all the ARIO*.old files to ARIO*.new files. Make sure the two companies are using the same version of Adagio AR.
