I was disappointed too - I was hoping to see if there was a better approach than the one I recommended!

The issue was that February was closed on the AR side (sales reports completed, commissions calculated, sales transactions retrieved to the GL etc). Then today someone accidentally used a February date on a dozen OE invoices that were intended to be March.

Ilona will now apply the transactions to March when they hit the GL. She will edit Sales Analysis data to change the dates to March 2nd. The only problems will be a small difference in the Feb. 28 AR Aged Trial Balance if anyone ever reprints it and any sales reports based strictly on OE data (rather than Sales Analysis) won't be 100% accurate.

When the mis-dated invoices are in the past, it's an annoyance but not a crisis. But if "someone" had used a date in the future, say 3/1/2018 instead of 3/1/2017, that's a crisis.

This is where GridView Read/Write and some database knowledge becomes very valuable. I know because I solved this exact problem for a client yesterday; not only was it future-dated, but it was worse because 1) they use Invoices to bill, and 2) some of the invoices were paid.
