Hello, While installing the latest Payables upgrade, I got this error code during the Crystal Files Installation:
>> The Crystal files Installer encountered Error code [1625]!
The installer was run from [s:\softrak\system\CR_InstallCommon\CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_16.msi]
The install will continue but you may not be able to print reports until it is resolved. <<
Does anyone know what this is and how I might resolve?
I cannot open AP -- I get the message that workstation files need to be updated --- then the update runs and I get this same error message again. We are in a loop, so to speak
AP version - 9.2B 20161208 Windows 7 workstation
Thanks and regards, Carol

Hi, Carol,
Did you do the install using Run as Administrator?
Some systems have policies set up that don't permit this type of install. You'll need to contact their system administrator.
It could also be that the s:\softrak\system\CR_InstallCommon\CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_16.msi file is corrupt, often due to a slow internet connection.
If you drill down to the file, right click and view its Properties, it should have a size of exactly 77,709,312 bytes.
Some dealers will take their copy of this file to the site they will be doing the installation for on a USB key. If they happen to run into this problem, they will rename the corrupt file at the site and copy in their file then run the file itself to do the install.

Hi, thanks for the speedy reply. I always do installs w/ Run as Administrator.
I'm remoted in w/ the client, so next thing I'll try is copying the file from my in house install. I'll let you know how we fare.

Hey -- that worked. I took the files from my own install, transferred them over to the client's system and then it worked.
The files are now added to my drop box!!!!
Thanks again, Carol

Try disabling the antivirus before installing. Also, there is a group policy that doesn't allow installers to save on c:\ drive. This policy is usually enabled by the IT people to avoid the crypto virus. It may not allowing to install CR properly.
