Hello,

We are trying to setup our smtp to go through office 365. Which version of SSL/TLS is running?

Microsoft is saying it should be TLS 1.0+ or SSL 3.0.

Thanks,
Lance

Lance:

Email from Adagio: MAPI or Direct.

Which flavour of Office 365? You need at least Office 365 Business that installs on your computer.

Did you change you email host provider to Microsoft as part of changing to Office 365?

Hi Doug,

Direct.

We have business premium with local installs of the office suite on all work stations.

We went from our own hosted exchange to O365, yes.

Thanks,
-Lance

Lance:

Troubleshooting Exchange Services is always difficult at the best of times. When we switched from Office 2013 (local installs) to Office 365 Pro Plus (so no Exchange) I don't recall that we had to change the setup for our Adagio email direct at all. Unfortunately the answer to your question is likely going to require to research beyond what we can do on the forum.

We solved our issue by pointing the SMTP to our MX record disabling Authentication and enabling TLS. Emails now seem to get through with no issue.

Thanks
