We recently upgraded our receptionist's computer to Windows 10 and now the alignment for our system generated cheques is wrong. Both the left and the top alignments are affected. We are using the same specification that we have used for years so my suspicion is that it's related to the computer settings rather than the cheque specification. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ronco405,

Mis-alignment of a specification - and text printing with the correct font size - is likely a Windows advanced Regional Setting. There is something regarding 'language setting for non-Unicode programs' - or whatever it is now called in Windows 10, since Microsoft calls is something different in every new version of Windows - that needs to be set to English (United States) in order for this to work. Since you are from BC, I suspect that the Windows default is English (Canada).

Note that the required setting is not the standard Regional Settings in Windows, but a very specific 'advanced setting.
