Hi All,

I came across an issue a client was having but can not replicate it. The Tax Tracking report from OE use to show all the tax codes in the summary at the end of the report however it has stopped. There has been no changes in the system and no different selections for the report settings.

Please see August 2014 report that shows all the codes used while invoices were done and the July 2015 report.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Are you sure that particular Tax Code "5" was used in this cycle of data entry ? I don't remember for sure, but It may be that the report only prints info for the Tax Code if it finds that there is relevant data.

Hi Pete,

The code was used in the cycle, and as shown before it use to show up on the report. The report depending on what you choose to show on the report usually has both taxed and non taxed totals included in the summary.

This is why I am trying to figure out if there was a change that I did not read in the release notes. However, this was just recently noticed. So I am now checking the reports prior to pin point when it started.

Also I am running tests myself to see if they needed to select the code while doing the invoicing for the items individually, I don't think this should be the case since the code is linked to the customer when the customer was set up in the first place, but it couldn't hurt to see if someone is playing with the system.

I have completed my testing and the problem is that the item tax status itself has to be changed when completing the invoice.
