I uploaded the ARX company data tables this evening. It was very easy-to-do. Once uploaded, the modules functioned 99% as if they were still on a local drive in the office. Performance was very good and smooth.

One thing that puzzled me was that I only ever saw a login screen (and therefore the System Date) when I logged into the first module the first time. Even after I closed the Cloud and connected again, I never saw a login screen again.

Other things:
-On a new dataset, the Adagio Toolbar was not available until closing the session and re-starting (not a big deal)
-I couldn't change the password for User1. It appeared to work but an error 86 appeared when I clicked on the "Close" button
-When I went from GL to BR via the Adagio Toolbar and then tried to close BR, I received the message "Internal error - User has not yet signed on". BR closed normally after that.
-I tried to create a Windows shortcut to log in as User 1 but the login was denied. Likely an error on my part but I couldn't see my typo.
-Is there a way to add users beyond User1?
-How would we activate Datacare, Console etc?

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the great feedback. When you launch an application from the Adagio Manager, it is launched with TODAY() as the session date. If you want a different date, then do a right button mouse launch.

I've seen the Adagio Toolbar problem too, but it's hard to repeat. We're looking into it.

We'll look at the BR close issue too.

I'll let others more knowledgeable than I talk about adding users.

Andrew:

OK, I see that a right-click presents an option to pop a calendar. And now that I see the calendar, I think my earlier comment was wrong. I was toggling back and forth between the Cloud and my local install so the login dialogue I mentioned must have been local.

Other:
-The ExcelDirect button results in "Failed to connect to Excel". I tried both GL and IN.
-I printed to my local printer successfully. I noticed that I don't have the same printer options (ie. draft, 2 per page etc). I expect that is a result of the fact that the Cloud version can only have generic printer drivers?

How to modify Cloud user's details/Password in Adagio Manager?

After you've logged in using Admin Account you will need to do the following:

Click on Edit | Users - This will open up "User Setup Maintenance" Window
Click on the user that you want to modify and hit the "Edit" button
Update this form to "Pair" the Cloud User's sign-on ID to the Adagio UserID, when done Click on OK
You'll be back to the "User Setup Maintenance" form and now hit on the "Close" button.
Adagio Manager will confirm if you want to save the current settings,
Click on the "Yes" button to save these new settings.

This will update the users passwords for both the Cloud Sign-on and the Adagio UserID Password

Email Support if you require more help on Modifying Users in Adagio Managers.

Are the user restrictions enabled? I can see the user I edited but am not able to check any boxes in the data sets that show in that menu.

Installation and setup went smoothly for me. I will upload my own data later today and see how it goes. I use all the programs currently operational.

Speed of opening and closing programs is very fast.

Hi Lyndon:

I found that there has to be a user in addition to the Admin user. If you see a blank row under the Admin user titled "Available", edit that row to make it an actual user and then check Restrictions.

I have a SYS user ID and a User 1. When I go to the Edit Restrictions that user appears but I cannot select any of the boxes to restrict that user.

Harj deleted that default User1 for me and I created a new user. I can select the boxes for my new user. Maybe you can delete User1 and do the same thing?

Thanks Bruce, that worked. I have to use the space bar to select though, mouse clicks don't register.
