When attempting to run the service pack, I'm unable to get past message "Error: Incorrect Windows User. To install this ServicePack, you must be logged in as a Windows User that installed or runs Adagio Ledger. Current user (administrator) does not have the Report Tables file at (unc path) Please log in as a current user of Adagio Ledger or check your drive mappings and re-run the program.

I am running the 2nd release of the patch.

. I have drive letter Q: mapped, the QRTALW90.qrw file is at the unc file location stated in the message.

I’ve tried unmapping the drive / and re-mapping, I’ve tried different admin user accounts, and tried it from different machines.

Does the current windows user have to exhist as a user in Adagio?

Hi Davis,

This particular error message is one that I haven't seen before.

This likely will require assistance from your Adagio consultant as they will have more knowledge as to your setup and installation.

Make sure that you are installing service packs or upgrades from a workstation to your shared server, rather than installing directly from the server. It sounds like that this is what you are doing.

Try running the \softrak\system\chksys.exe utility from a workstation, to delve a little deeper into the report tables settings and expected file dates of the tables. The correct table date of QRTALW90.QRW should be July 2/2013 in Q:\qrasp (I presume). The reason for the re-release of the service pack was because wrong tables were installed.

Windows users and Adagio user IDs have little connection. The only way they are is if you choose to have the Adagio user ID remembered on the company data sign-on screen, then it is remembered for the Windows user. But this doesn't have an influence when installing updates.

Thank you for your response. I'm in touch with our Adagio consultant. Will look at the table date and the chksys utility.

Thanks,
Davis
