I am unable to print G/L Posting Journals (for one of the 4 companies) on my workstation and on one other workstation. No matter who logs in (myself, SYS, etc) on these 2 workstations, when we try to print or preview a posting journal (for this one company), no printout occurs and the preview snaps back to the menu, as if there is no PJ to print. All other functions work fine (as far as I know), and I can log in and print the PJ from other co-workers' workstations. This only affects one company, so I am suspecting it relates to a file on the local hard drive? Can you help? Thanks!

Have you done a workstation install on these stations? Run \SOFTRAK\SYSTEM\CHKSYS.EXE to make sure that Adagio is properly set up.

No machine/workstation changes done in recent memory. Checksys program returns 0 errors, 0 warnings on both workstations. All other AP, GL functions are fine, no problems printing anything except GL Posting Journals on these 2 stations. I can log in at at least 3 other workstations and print the PJ fine!! Strange but true. Verified by Beecher, so it's gotta be true!

Please check the temporary directories on these stations for directories named GLPJnnnn or for a file named GLPJTMP.{data extension). (nnnn represents a number.)

Another thing to check is Regional Settings. Are these stations using an unusual Currency Symbol?

Search for files or folders GLPJ*.* yields no files or folders found on drive C. Regional settings are English (United States) and currency symbol is the dollar sign. Same as the workstations that allow me to print. I'm stumped.

The next thing to check for is unusual date settings.

Please look at Report options and compare the settings for the working stations to the stations that are not working.

All Report Options are identical, all Regional Settings are identical, both workstations running Win 2000 Professional, same Novell client, etc. This is the only function in AP, GL, AR, etc that seems to be the issue. Really odd and one that I use frquently, so it is an issue I would like resolved. Thanks!!!!

It'sd even stranger than first thought ... I can print G/L posting journals for the other three companies no problem, and I can even print SOME G/L posting journals for the main company. Yes, some print and preview fine, some won't preview and print at all. All print and preview fine from other workstations (except one). Help!!
