Last night we upgraded several modules, in particular we upgraded OE from 8.1C to 8.1E. In several Workstations the specific printer for Picking Slips is set to Print Boss...however when they select PRINT, it wants to print to the default printer. Should I have updated Print Boss as well (is there an updated version?)

In OE, go to File | Workstation Options and select the tab labelled "Specifications". If the Pick Slip isn't already pointing to PrintBoss, make the change. Note that "Workstation" is meant literally; you will need to make the change on each computer running OE.

A new version of OE will not need a newer version of PrintBoss. The next time would likely be when you change to a new operating system (ie. from XP to Windows 7 or Windows 8).

Bruce - I have done this on the different workstations & it won't "stay"...interesting enough, this only seems to be affecting the "picking slip" option - if I change the Invoice option, it sticks?????

I found something interesting....if I print from the "Orders" window (right click order, select print) it will not use my preferences, but if I select from the Menu Bar - "Order Entry -Print Picking slip" it will use my preferences?????
