Is there somewhere I can learn/read about importing a csv file into a batch. I have a new payroll program, that creates a csv file, but I am having a tough time making it work.
Any help much appreciated.

There are a number of resources available to you:

1) On the File | Import | Batches ... window, click Help. Then select the See Also followed by Importing Batches and/or Import File Format Requirement Notes and Batches notes. The basic Help provides information on the 3 import windows. the File Format Requirement Notes provides detailed information about the file layout and available fields for use within the file to be imported.

2) From the Home Page of our website, at the top of the page, select Training | Show Me How | Documentation. The Import/Export File Format Requirements Notes for each/all modules are available via a link on the right side of the screen.

3) Definitely not the least important, your Adagio Consultant should be a valuable resource in setting this up or helping you learn more about importing data to Adagio.

And if your "new payroll program" is PayDirt from QLab systems, you don't need to use import at all.

It creates a batch ready to be retrieved into Ledger, just like all the other Adagio modules.
