Our Invoicing Program is version 9.0A and our Inventory Program is version 8.1C
We use Moving Average Cost on inventory items. One item has a MAC of $5.35 and a recent cost of $10.00 - When we invoice this item the cost shows up as $10.00 not the $5.35
Other items have no recent cost and when we invoice the cost shows as $0.00
We have Display Cost checked off in the profile

When Adagio Invoices posts a batch with Inventory Items, the displayed cost is indeed the Most Recent Cost. When the Shipment file is imported into Adagio Inventory, the real (average) cost is used, ignoring whatever Most Recent Cost was displayed there.

So if your concern is that the wrong cost will be allocated in the Inventory shipment entry, there will be no problem.
