Is there any way to reset the POA day end after the Day End failed to complete (like there used to be in the old ACCPAC Plus OE)?. POA day end did not run; Datacare integrity check shows no errors.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi, Ed,

If you have GridView-RW, you can do this; otherwise it would require a database repair.

Hi. Thanks for the info. I guess the other way is an old fashioned fileset restore.

Field : Day End Active?
Offset : 1209
Type : BOOL
Length : 2

Use any "Hex Editor" and open IRGLOB.dat and change the value at 1209 Decimal 0

Best done on a copy of your data. Results not guaranteed

Thanks very much for the IRGLOB fix. It worked great and now POA opens no problem. That's one of the things I like about this database - things like this can be fixed so easily once one knows what to do. I really appreciate your help.
Thanks again.

Hi Ed

Make sure to run Data Integrity Check on the PO database. Resetting the IRGLOB status is nice, but it won't fix the underlying problem, if there is one. Only DIC can do that.

And sometimes the DIC can't fix it either.

There's a reason that there is a flag in the company profile that is set when day end is started.
